Lucas Price, painting under the name Cyclops is, along with his painting partner SweetToof, one of the UK’s most prolific street artists.
Walk down any street in East London and the chances are you will come across one of the pairs street paintings featuring their distinctive giant teeth.
Lucas’ gallery paintings have a raw urgent feel to them, both angry and intimate, as if he has purged his mind in the process of applying paint to canvas. Often heavily layered and incorporating words or phrases they have a striking honesty and freshness to them.
